Our Tree of Partners Continues to Grow

At Morgan Hill Unified, we know that the breadth of meaningful opportunities we provide our students is something we cannot do alone. We are incredibly grateful for the community organizations, businesses, nonprofits, colleges, universities, and agencies that partner with us in support of our students and schools.

Because of these partnerships, our students have access to experiences and opportunities that extend far beyond the classroom—from internships, career exploration and college pathways to enrichment programs, wellness resources, mentoring, scholarships, hands-on learning, and so much more. Our youngest learners enjoy memorable experiences in the community, including visits to the Magical Bridge Playground and the Pirates Cove. Middle school students benefit from partnerships that expand learning beyond the classroom, from Amplify, our before- and after-school program, to the Youth Cinema Project, where students learn the art of filmmaking.

By high school, those opportunities continue to grow. Nearly 1000 students are taking college courses through Dual Enrollment, earning college credit while still in high school. More than 90% of our students enroll in Career Technical Education pathways, including Multimedia Production, Photography, Agricultural Mechanics and Welding, 3D Product Design, Construction, Woodworking, Ceramics, Floral Design, Culinary Arts, Computer Science, Sports Medicine, and more.

Each year, we also partner with the Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce for Rock the Mock, where seniors participate in mock interviews with community members while developing skills in interviewing, professional attire, resume building, and more.

That support continues through graduation and beyond. With a 95.5% graduation rate, we are proud to support students from their first days in our schools to the moment they cross the graduation stage and take their next steps toward the future of their dreams.

Through our San José State Guaranteed Pathway program, MHUSD students who meet the program requirements are guaranteed admission to SJSU, creating a clear pathway from our classrooms to higher education.

Our partnerships also strengthen the families and community surrounding our students. Through Adult Education and our Family and Community Engagement Center, families and community members can access English, Spanish and computer classes; entrepreneurship and job training; parent education; scholarships; food, clothing and housing resources; dental care;  mental health and wellness support. These are just a few of the branches that make up a network of care for our school community.

To each of our partners: thank you. Your time, expertise, resources, and commitment help expand what is possible for our students and families. We are incredibly grateful to have you as part of the MHUSD community.

Our Tree of Partners reflects the incredible community that surrounds our students—and it continues to grow. Interested in helping us create even more opportunities? Join us! There’s always room to grow on our MHUSD tree.
